In the high mountains the Andes in Peru you find the rainbow mountains. The photo does show where it gets its name from. The different types of metal and low rock create the different colors on the mountain.
You cannot get there by car, but are dropped at a parking lot nearby to continue the hike. In itself not a long hike and the altitude meters are not too bad. But since it is at 4500. Walking is tough because there is little oxygen in the air.
By walking a little further and taking the picture from a higher point. I could look deeper into the valley. Along with the people in the foreground it nicely gives the grandeur of the area.
I also used a polorizing filter on my lens. So that the colors would look extra nice.
