After a terribly dry summer, Torwoud was yearning for a bit of humidity. The first rainfall involved a lot of drama.
A severe thunderstorm coloured the sky completely orange. Torwoud is a buffer basin in Torhout, Belgium that serves as a water collection zone during periods of prolonged rain. This picture reminds me of a quote by Maya Angelou: "Try to be a Rainbow in Someone Else's Cloud".
