A beautiful but extremely dangerous insect to other small animals. The strong beak/beak of the Assassin Bug is used to repeatedly and violently stab its prey to death, hence the name "assassin." The long, pointed beak is kept under the head when not in use and makes noise when moved back and forth. Assassin Bugs move quickly and deftly, surprising their victims. Once prey is caught, they use their powerful front legs to hold the insect back as it is stabbed to death and then the body fluids are sucked out.
