This particular red-eyed macaque frog that can be spotted in Costa Rica stares straight into the camera. The red-eyed macaque frog has a green back and a white belly. The eyes are bright red, the toes and fingers are orange to red in colour and the flanks and parts of the legs are blue with yellow stripes.
The red-eyed macaque frog is found in parts of Central America and lives in tropical rainforests. It is a tree-dweller that 's active at night and hides among leaves during the day.
