The red-tailed buzzard (Buteo jamaicensis) is a bird of prey belonging to the family Acciptridae.
This species lives from Western Alaska and Northern Canada to Panama and the Antilles. The habitat of the red-tailed buzzard is very varied and includes forests, savannahs and mountain pastures.
