About ‘Red tulips in glass jar’ by Atelier BIS
With tulips, you never know.
Sometimes they remain hermetically sealed, sullenly tucked away among the stiff green leaves.
But in most cases they grow so luxuriantly that the vase is soon too small and their thin stems can no longer support the heavy calyxes.
Just in time I capture them in watercolor!

A painting is finished when it is just barely finished.
