About ‘Reflecting water’ by Frank Bosman

One of my favorite subjects are sunsets and sunrises. The stillness or awakening of nature combined with beautiful colors make it very fascinating to me. Also the fact that the image will never be the same makes every sunset or sunrise unique.

It is not always the case that a beautiful sunset coincides with fairly calm weather. It is precisely this combination that makes it possible to create beautiful reflections in the water. When the conditions were right I already knew where to go, the lake nearby now gave the best image. The sun set exactly on the long side of the lake so there was maximum space to catch the reflection.

The photo is a stack of 3 photos taken through bracketing and merged into an HDR (High Dynamic Range) photo in Adobe Lightroom. With this technique it is possible to get both the highlights and the shadows well exposed, also noise in post processing is limited.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
