De lucht is geen neutraal decor maar de hoofdact; dikke, gelevde penseelstreken en kleine structuurvlekjes geven die wolk gewicht en warmte, alsof de zon zich heeft teruggetrokken in een gouden jas. Tegelijkertijd werkt het water als echo — hetzelfde licht komt terug, maar gedraaid en verhevigd, waardoor het landschap dubbel spreekt. De compositie zet die twee elementen tegenover elkaar: lucht en spiegeling, lucht schilderij en spiegeling schilderij, bijna als een vraag en antwoord.
Wat je concreet ziet: de bovenste helft is dominantie van geel-groenige en goudgele tonen, met een grote centrale wolk die in reliëf is opgebouwd. Op de horizon een dunne, lage lijn met een kluwen bomen en een paar kleine huisjes, maar die zijn bewust teruggezet — niet meer dan silhouetten die de lijn breken. Het onderste vlak is water: breed, rustig, en verrassend fel gekleurd in paars, blauw en magenta; iedere rimpel en reflectie is uitgewerkt met korte, ritmische streepjes verf die net genoeg spanning toevoegen zonder de rust te doorbreken. Het resultaat is tegelijk herkenbaar landschap en bijna abstract patroon van kleur en ritme.
Waarom dit zo werkt: de keuze om uitsluitend op lucht en spiegeling te focussen zorgt voor een simpele, heldere ervaring. De kunstenaar speelt met tegenstellingen — warm boven, koel onder; zacht in volume boven, scherp in kleur onder — zodat je blik vanzelf heen en weer wordt getrokken. Techniek en materiaal versterken dat: lagen verf, kleine vlekjes en licht impasto maken dat die gele wolk tastbaar voelt, terwijl de spiegeling door kleurcontrasten als een literaire herhaling fungeert. A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.
Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.
Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
