About ‘Rice fields from famous train journey Sri Lanka’ by Iris Zebli

This photo was taken during one of the most beautiful train journeys in the world: the route from Kandy to Ella, right through the heart of Sri Lanka. From the open train window, a panorama of vast rice fields unfolds. Because the train is at a considerable height, you look out over the green valley slowly awakening in the soft morning light.

The train winds its way through a sea of green. Everything seems to breathe: the land, the plants, the air. The rhythm of the train, the sound of metal on rails, and the smell of fresh grass create an almost meditative experience. This image captures exactly that feeling - of freedom, of movement, of being connected to a land still deeply rooted in tradition and nature.

The rice fields, with their various shades of green, symbolise Sri Lanka's agricultural heartland. They form a pattern of tranquillity and repetition in a landscape that seems constantly changing. This image is perfect for anyone who wants to capture the charm of slow travel in their interiors - a reminder of the importance of being on the road, not just the destination.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
