Robben Island, is a place with a long history in South Africa's history. It is located close to Cape Town in the Atlantic Ocean. Political prisoners like Nelson Mandela was imprisoned there for a long time.
There is now a museum accessible by boat for viewing. This man sitting on the rocks looked across the ocean towards Robben Island. What would go through his mind - a long road to freedom, as Mandela put it.
I was visiting South Africa again after a long time. It was a full day's drive to get to Blouberg beach. It was worth it with this spectacular sunset and golden colours, with this view of Robben Island.
