Robins are common little birds in the Netherlands. With their brown colour and bright red breast, they are very easy to recognise. They are mostly found in forests, parks and gardens. They make their nest on the ground and breed from April to June. Robins are confident and therefore easy to spot. Yet they can fly away in no time if you get too close.
The picture in taken in Schaijk on a sunny day. The robin came back regularly to provide me with a beautiful song. It also occasionally came to eat the seed mix we had made available for the birds. Although this bird is nothing special, it is still a very nice bird to see!
The warm, dark colours make this picture beautiful as a print on the wall. Highly recommended for the true nature and garden bird lover!
