Robin on a snow-covered branch is a watercolour painting in portrait format hand-painted by the artist Karen Kaspar.
A European Robin sits on a snow-covered branch in the middle of a gentle winter scene. The bright orange breast feathers form a striking contrast to the soft, cool colours of the wintry background. Delicate twigs are lightly dusted with snow, lending the scene a calm and frosty atmosphere. Soft blue and white tones fill the background and suggest a cold but calm atmosphere.
This image is a portrait format detail from my painting Robin in a Winter Landscape, which I painted in landscape format. This painting is also available in my portfolio.
More pictures with bird motifs can be found in my album Birds. The album is constantly being expanded. So have a look from time to time.
