Roerkade with Stone Bridge in Roermond The Stone Bridge or Maria Theresa Bridge is located on the Roerkade and crosses the river Roer. The bridge was built in 1771 and is made of hard stone. After severe war damage, it was fully restored. The name Maria Theresa Bridge refers to the lady who donated the bridge to the city. The photo was taken at dusk on 2 November 2015.
