Tips for use
  • Point your camera at the floor or a piece of furniture first, then move it slowly up towards the wall. A bare white wall is hard for your phone to recognise.
  • Move your phone gently from side to side. Holding it still or waving it around quickly does not help.
  • Make sure there is enough light. In a dark room your phone has nothing to lock onto.
  • The artwork appears at its true size, so you cannot scale it in AR. Want a different size? Close AR and pick the size on the product page.
  • Still nothing? Open this page in Chrome or Safari. AR does not work in the browser of apps such as Instagram or Facebook.

In November, I walked from Blaak to the Kop van Zuid. It was already a bit later in the afternoon when I arrived at the Hef. I wanted to do something with the long shadows. I first photographed from the other side of the road but then the shadows didn't come out well. Hence I started walking on this side. At one point I was met by this…

Fotografie biedt het beste uit twee werelden: het artistieke waarmee je helemaal los kan gaan om een bepaald gevoel over te brengen en het technische om dat gevoel te bereiken. Als ik de geheugenkaart uitlees is het altijd weer een verassing wat er weer op het scherm verschijnt. Als de foto zich daarvoor leent zet ik hem om naar zwart-wit en probeer 'em wat extra's te geven. Veel plezier met kijken!
