"Bruchlinien" is an expressive work full of contrasts, power and tension. Sharp, dynamic lines cut through the picture surface like tectonic shifts, as if the picture had set itself in motion. The dominant colours - a bright orange, cool grey-blue, creamy white and deep black - collide like forces, fighting, overlapping, tearing apart.
