Corrosion, rust, often you want to prevent it by protecting the metal with thick layers of coating. If rust does get a chance because of this lack of maintenance, you sometimes see the most beautiful colours. This photo was taken at the Landschaftspark in Duisburg Germany, a former blast furnace complex and now an industrial monument.
