Usually I try to avoid this in the photo or shop it out while editing. This time I used it as the subject of the photo. This rusty bike was probably fished out of the nearby water at the Krabbeplas in Vlaardingen and then, I guess, the bike didn't fit in the trash can that stood by the picnic table. Surrounded by the green grass and numerous buttercups, it remained a rusty bike, but a rusty bike in a very nice colorful setting. In any case it provided a photo for the VillaJoepCollection 2022.
The proceeds (my commission) I will fully donate to the Villa Joep Foundation. I sincerely hope that you will order something beautiful from this special Villa Joep Collection for charity!
