An orange SWM 50 off-road machine from Italy.
The beauty of the curved lines and the Italian design speaks for itself.
Anyone who remembers holidays in Italy in the 70s and 80s may be familiar with this machine. These mopeds were very common there. Only a few of them found their way to Germany. It gave the owners the freedom to go wherever they wanted and to clearly set themselves apart from the mopeds at home. They were not only more beautiful in design, but usually also faster and had an incredible sound. When you look at them, the old feelings come flooding back. You feel like you're 16 or 17 again. The music of the 70s/80s is in the air, just like the rattling of the Modeps. You can literally smell it.
Today, these rare machines are once again highly coveted and a feeling of youth creeps over the viewer. An artistic photograph not only for motorbike vintage car enthusiasts that you can hang up anywhere.
It looks particularly good in a loft, retro environment, hallway, stairwell, hobby workshop or even in the living room. Ideally suited to complement it with other motifs from the series. Not everyone could fulfil such a childhood dream. Now you can.
This photo belongs to a series about mopeds and mokicks from Italy in the 70s and 80s. Other models from Fantic, Malaguti, Aspes, SWM, Beta and Benelli can be found in the Italian mopeds album.
Parts of this series are also available as calendars. Further information can be found at "www.wilde50er.de".
