Located in the peaceful town of Panauti, one of Nepal's oldest temples boasts an impressive entrance, marked by a stone staircase used by time and pilgrims. This sacred site, witness to centuries of history and spirituality, embodies the typical architecture of the Kathmandu Valley. As you climb the steps, you feel the weight of the traditions and devotions that have shaped this place. Delicate carvings, finely chiselled motifs and precious wooden structures recall the influence of Art Nouveau. The imposing, mystical entrance opens onto a sanctuary where the faithful come to pray and meditate in an atmosphere of serenity. Panauti, often overshadowed by Kathmandu and Bhaktapur, is nevertheless home to an inestimably rich heritage. Wandering through the narrow streets, observing the temples and meeting the locals allows you to discover a more intimate and unspoilt side of Nepal.
