In my residential area, there is always a very large group of white geese. They regularly get in the way when you want to drive past in your car. From the car, I then often see them in spring with their cute chicks walking around in the grass.
After several years, I went out early to finally photograph them. And how much I enjoyed it. Those cute chicks sheltering together or chasing their mother among the blades of grass.
At first, the geese didn't quite trust me, but when I sat quietly in the grass, they calmed down. Then I was also able to photograph this endearing pair, safely near mum.
The passing cyclists and motorists thought it was weird to see me at the edge of the road.
But I was happy with the photos taken!
This photo would do well in a nursery, crèche, school or in a waiting room.
A few years ago I started to delve into photography a bit more and by now it can be called a passion.I photograph everything that strikes me in a positive way. Landscapes, animals and occasionally architecture or portraits.... But my preference is still nature photos, especially macro.. Read more…
