About ‘Sagrada Familia’ by Frans Nijland
A wonderful basilica in Barcelona designed by Antonio Gaudi. Construction began in 1882 and is still unfinished, The interior of the church looks nothing like what you are used to seeing in churches. Beautiful floral ornaments decorate the ceiling and vaults. The incoming sunlight creates an explosion of colours. What an amazing building.

My name is Frans Nijland, I am an amateur photographer and I live in Delden Overijssel. For years my great passion was urbex photography, capturing the decay of abandoned buildings. For this many trips have been made in a large part of Europe. Over the years my interest has broadened to include nature photography, architecture and urban photography. I hope you enjoy my photos.
Sincerely, Frans Nijland.
