About "Sailing ships Fryderyk Chopin"

About the artwork

Sailing ships Fryderyk Chopin. The Fryderyk Chopin is accompanied here by several sailboats.
The ship was once designed by Polish naval architect Zygmunt Choreń, named in honor of the 19th century Polish composer Fryderyk Chopin. The ship has a rich past history and in 2010 the ship had lost both masts due to a severe storm.

The ship was towed into the sheltered waters of Falmouth Bay after 100 miles and three days in tow by a small fishing trawler Nova Spero; whose captain, Shaun Edwards answered the Mayday call.

The photo of these ships was taken in the North Sea. Because I like the old masters look so much, I made an oil look alike painting from this photo.

The sky shows a bit of drama and the colors are pastel, which you often find in paintings by the old masters.
The color scheme is such that it will look good in many rooms on the wall. The effect is most beautiful when this picture is printed on canvas.

The image is somewhat medieval. There are quite a few details, but they have been given an oil paint look. making it smeared. Because of this, the imagination/fantasy will have to make its own interpretation of it. That makes the style of the old masters so beautiful, enough to see, not entirely clear but stimulating the imagination. This way you can see it differently every time and it also gives peace to the image.
