On a foggy day, I was walking in the Amsterdam forest near the Amstelveen pool. I saw this jetty and it seemed to disappear in the mist. Taking a slightly lower viewpoint did give you more depth of field. The mist also means you can't see what's in the background, just the jetty and the water. It did appeal to me. The reeds give the photo more substance.
