About the artwork

There are not many opportunities to feel like an adventurer in modern times. However, exploring deserted places and finding unexpected treasures can give you that deep thrill. You bring nothing physical to show for your efforts, but the pictures you take and first-hand experiences make for even better souvenirs.
Urbex is a contraction of the English urban and exploring. So one goes out to discover abandoned places and weathered buildings. With the emphasis on urban, it is therefore about cities and buildings and not about nature views. The so-called urbexer goes out to find hidden places. It might remind you a little of exciting adventures you had when you were little. Discovery trips for adults!

When you have found a spot, you can choose to record it. So then we speak of urbex photography. And the two often go hand in hand. This way, the urbexer has a nice souvenir and it looks cool and original in a house, office building or perhaps museum.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
