Seagoing ship sailing to the North Sea. The seagoing ship passing the Noordpier near Wijk aan Zee en route to the North Sea. The crew at the stern prepare the ship for sea. The windmills on the horizon and the ships at anchor waiting for the anchor grounds.
A beautiful wind at sea and beautiful waves. The bow diving into a wave valley the clouds draw together for a setting sun. The last hours before darkness falls.
Foam heads are already forming on the waves. Will it be a stormy night for the crew?
Raw and the port as it is the people who work there. The images I see there I like to photograph because it is art in itself. The harbour is another world.
