A young elephant photographed in Chobe National Park, Botswana.
Most elephants in Africa are in Botswana, an elephant paradise in other words. During a game drive, I passed a herd of elephants. They were quite curious, expressing this by sniffing the air with their trunks.
This young elephant caught my attention because of the beautiful skimming light falling on its trunk. Surrounded by the herd.
With my photography I hope to inspire you with mother nature. Outside the house there is so much beauty to see that I would like to share through my photos.
I am Jeroen van Rooijen, specialized in landscape and travel photography and studying at the Fotovakschool.
