Seebird is a lively abstract work in which nature and fantasy come together in organic forms with geometric structures. Bird-like creatures and stylised faces subtly flow into each other. The interplay of lines creates different playful planes in which you keep discovering something new each time.
Bright neon colours (magenta, orange, beige, yellow and purple) alternated with natural shades (olive green, pink, soft yellow, blue) create a colourful, modern look that fits in with the modern living style.

This drawing was first drawn in pencil in a sketchbook. The interplay of lines is created by first putting down the broad lines, as there are a number of lines running from top to bottom. Once the big lines are in place, the rest 'arises automatically' by letting my hands do the work.
After the sketch was made, the lines were digitised in Illustrator. Then it was time to start colouring in the drawing using planes.
Every step of this process is enjoyment for me. The creation of an image that does not yet exist gives me pleasure in discovery. A real journey of discovery as it were.
