In this photo, the drama of Madeira's north coast comes to life: the black lava beaches of Seixal, engulfed by foaming waves of the Atlantic Ocean, form a raw contrast to the steep, dense cliffs in the background. The rugged rock formations and translucent turquoise waters exude a primal power typical of this volcanic island.
This beach, often described as one of Madeira's most beautiful, still feels pristine. Nature rules here - with waves rolling in unfiltered, while the mountain sides are shrouded in mist and clouds. You feel small in this landscape, but intensely connected.
