About ‘Semuc Champey Guatemala Waterfall’ by Michiel Dros

Semuc Champey is a nature reserve in the Alta Verapaz region of Guatemala. Semuc consists mainly of natural turquoise coloured pools that lie above the river Cahabón and between steep mountainsides covered with trees. The pools have formed over the centuries on top of the river and consist of limestone.
