Shapes in Balance – Abstract Geometric Art in Orange with Circles and Lines

by Hilde Remerie – Digital Art, Bauhaus & Photography

‘Shapes in Balance’ is a colourful abstract artwork in which circular shapes, straight lines and blocks of colour are playfully balanced against one another. The warm orange background forms the backdrop for a large circular shape in various shades of peach, soft orange and cream. Surrounding this are smaller circles in dark red and black. A bold black diagonal line runs upwards through the composition and is connected to a vertical red line. At the bottom, a long horizontal red line provides a strong graphic counterbalance.

The combination of circular and straight shapes gives the artwork a dynamic character. The large circle immediately catches the eye, whilst the smaller red and black circles create rhythm and tension. The diagonal line introduces movement into the composition and contrasts with the calm horizontal and vertical lines. This creates an abstract composition in which all the shapes maintain a visual balance with one another.

The warm colour palette of orange, peach, cream, red and black gives this geometric artwork a sunny and contemporary feel. At the same time, the simple shapes and clear blocks of colour lend it a strong graphic character.

‘Forms in Balance’ is ideal as modern wall art for the living room, bedroom, study or office. The piece complements a modern, colourful, retro or minimalist interior and will appeal to lovers of abstract art, geometric art, circles and graphic compositions.

A playful and contemporary artwork in which colour, line and form come together in a composition that, both literally and figuratively, revolves around balance.
