What do you see at work?
Snow layer glistening in the sun. The depth of focus adds softness and tranquillity.

What was your inspiration?
A walk through winter wonderland. The degree of freshness, air, serenity and shimmer made this walk on the ice simplistically magical. I wanted to capture that.

What mood are you trying to capture?
Tranquillity, freshness, simplicity and a touch of dreaminess. The combination of the fresh snow and shimmer gives a serene feeling.

What emotion or message do you want to convey?
Peace and being. The focus and calm that this image depicts brings you back into the moment and helps you reflect.

Did you use a special technique?
A small depth of field allows for a focal point where the back and foreground are soft. The shimmer comes out beautifully this way.

What makes this work special in an interior?

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
