About "Shimmering texture in red and blue"

About the artwork

This work shows an abstract close-up of a shimmering fabric with a sequin-like texture. The surface reflects the light in an interplay of red and blue colour tones, creating an iridescent effect. The folds and light reflections create a visual depth that is further emphasised by targeted blurring. The points of light look like bokeh elements and give the picture an almost digital aesthetic.

The inspiration for this picture was the observation of light reflections on textured surfaces - especially on iridescent textiles. The atmosphere is lively and mysterious at the same time. The composition dispenses with representational motifs and instead uses an abstract formal language characterised by rhythm, shine and colour contrasts.

The picture conveys a sense of movement, energy and visual opulence. It invites interpretation and has a different effect depending on the lighting situation - sometimes cool, sometimes warm. In interior design, it goes particularly well with modern, glamourous or eclectic styles as well as concepts that work with material contrasts and plays of light. It harmonises with trends such as "maximalism", "digital glam" or "futuristic interiors".

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
