This work is a depiction of the shimmering frost during golden hour on the morning of the first day of winter
A cold morning with the beautiful sun, shining its light on the frozen nature.
A truly beautiful image with contrast and depth-of-field effects. Made cold with a warm and serene end result.
Technique:
the lens used for this image is a 50 mm 1.8 prime lens. a perfect choice to work with a high contrast of light and realise a lot of depth in the image.
Application:
Can be used well in any home with its earthy colours and warm tones. it is a winter photo, but can also be experienced as very summery due to the warm glow over it.
Perfect to combine with a nice passe-partout around it or simply a black wooden frame.
if you are going for a more minimalist and cream-coloured interior, I would recommend a wide blank wooden frame around it for enough contrast. and a passe-partout makes it even more exclusive.
this is not my only work on Art heroes so don't forget to have a look at the rest of my work in this series and other beautiful pictures.
