Ship hull in the harbor is art.
The hull of a a ship with the marks of rust and several layers of paint. bumps and small dents the numbers of a calibration mark to read the draft.
Sea-going vessels in ports with the hulls often scarred by sea voyages. Often the traces of rust the different layers of paint from all the years. The dents from sanding and touching up the hull with paint to counteract the rust.
Traces of the northern sea voyages through the ice show the story on the hull. The cargoes the voyages across the sea the days in port. The story draws itself over the hull of the ship over the years. Port photography is an art to do and see.
Raw and the port as it is the people who work there. The images I see there I like to photograph because it is art in itself. The harbor is another world. The landscape of the harbor is always changing. The ships the people the landscape it continues to fascinate me.
