The Dutch Navy needed very many ships at once after World War II. But building ships takes a lot of time, hence the CASTOR was designed in 1946 by the then Ministry of War as a multipurpose ship. Castor was delivered in 1950 by the Gebroeders Pot shipyard in Bolnes, Rotterdam. The Royal Navy gave her the pennant A810, and the Pilotage…

Mijn naam is Kevin Schenk en ik ben 24 jaar. Ik ben 8 jaar geleden begonnen als hobby fotograaf.

In mei 2013 heb ik de keuze gemaakt om als freelance fotograaf en cameraman aan de slag te gaan.

Hiervoor ben ik bij de lokale omroep Smart tv aan de slag gegaan en deed ik in de weekenden fotoshoots in de studio op de Maasvlakte of zat ik bij een sportwedstrijd als fotograaf. In 2015 ben ik ook andere soorten fotografie werkzaamheden er bij gaan…

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
