Photo of a pooping rhino in south Africa.
The rhinoceroses (Rhinocerotidae) are a family of large mammals that currently includes five species found in Africa and Asia. The rhinoceros has a curved backwards growing horn just behind the mobile part of the nose; three species have another smaller stump behind it; the Javan and Indian rhinoceros lack this.
