Silent Landscapes of Paper and Time

by But First Framing

A uniquely abstract landscape emerges from soft layers of paper, tranquil colours and delicate lines. Various pieces of torn paper lie layered upon one another, forming an elegant whole reminiscent of hills, mountains and a distant horizon. The natural forms and soft transitions lend the artwork a calm and timeless quality.

The colours range from warm cream and sandy brown to soft grey, lilac and deep purple. These earthy tones create a warm and tranquil atmosphere. The dark purple shape at the bottom of the piece contrasts beautifully with the light layers above it and lends the whole composition extra depth.

What makes this artwork special is the combination of different materials and textures. The rough paper edges, subtle drawn lines and small blue stitches convey a sense of craftsmanship and connection. It seems as though different memories and landscapes have been gently woven together.

The simple forms leave plenty of room for the viewer’s own imagination. Each layer tells a little story and invites you to look a little longer.

A refined and atmospheric artwork that brings together tranquillity, softness and natural beauty. Perfect for an interior where warm colours, simplicity and a sense of harmony take centre stage.
