Silver-grey reflections on the sandy beach and subtle waves on the Mediterranean coast in Spain. Flowing water meets fine sand.

When walking along the sandy beaches in Calpe, I often enjoy the sound of the sea and feel the soft sand on the soles of my feet. I am particularly fascinated by the gentle waves that keep emerging and moving towards the coast. A light wind is blowing. The sea whispers. Dark-grey clouds are slowly approaching, making the image appear almost monochrome. The cloudy sky is reflected from the surface of the water and wet sand. Consequently, the scene is characterized by subtle shades of grey. In my opinion, even in stormy and cloudy weather conditions, the Mediterranean ambience can be quite enchanting.

The meditative effect of the sea water and the magical reflections on the water surface fascinate me again and again. When searching for a motif, I strive to capture the elegant movements of the flowing water. The resulting photographs are inspired by the timeless beauty of nature and being in this very moment. The beach scene, still untouched by humans, is dedicated to the moment just before the first footprints appear in the fine sand.

When I walk along the coast and let my gaze wander towards the wide sea, the feelings of freedom and serenity are omnipresent. This Mediterranean beach scene is destined to bring some of the magic of the Costa Blanca into your home.
