About the artwork

The image titled "Oblique Run" slightly challenges our familiar reality, as seeing water at an oblique angle seems unusual in our usual physical world. Of course, we consider and accept our reality as normal.

This artwork playfully shows how we can deal with our perception of reality: If we have difficulties with our view of the world, we could simply stand at an angle to correct the skew.

Just as you could hang this rectangular picture at an angle to correct your perception and bring everything back into balance.

Of course, with many complexities of life, this is not so easy, but the picture can at least stimulate us to reflect on our view of reality.

The original is an oil painting on canvas from 2020 with the dimensions 30 x 40 cm and was created in the artist's studio in Berlin-Mitte.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
