About the artwork

The Australian Zoo is known for its fantastic collection of wild animals, but there is one animal that is almost as iconic as the zoo itself: the koala. These cuddly, cute creatures are world-famous and attract thousands of visitors to the Australian Zoo every year. Koalas are native to Australia and are known for their unique diet of eucalyptus leaves and their calm and placid temperament. They are also an endangered species, meaning that preserving their habitat and population is crucial to the species' survival. At the Australian Zoo, there are several ways to see koalas up close and learn about their behaviour and habits. For example, visitors can participate in a koala encounter, where they have the chance to see and cuddle these cute animals up close. There are also daily presentations where koalas can be seen in action while eating, sleeping and playing. The Australian Zoo also has a special department dedicated to koala population conservation and recovery. This includes research on koala health and welfare, as well as protecting their habitat and promoting sustainable agricultural practices to reduce the impact on koalas. Another highlight of the Australian Zoo is the koala hospital, where injured or sick koalas are taken care of and cared for. Visitors can learn about the various diseases and injuries koalas can suffer and how they are treated.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
