About ‘Snow and sky’ by Jan Hermsen
I took this picture in February 2021. Due to measures taken because of Covid, social life is becoming more sparse.
That sparseness is what I am trying to show here. The world is beautiful, but humans are now staying out of it. That is not necessarily ugly or bad.

I enjoy working in healthcare. I see photography as a hobby in which language is replaced by images. I try to make pictures of 'ordinary' scenes without too much post-processing. But what I also like is making compositions with a suggestive aspect to it. But what is seen must be put into it and is very personal.
