I took this photo at Dierenpark Hoenderdaell, where they have a sanctuary for lions and other felines such as tigers, panthers, etc. The commitment is to be able to release these animals back into the wild. But many were in bad shape when they came here.
This snow leopard, better known by the name snow leopard, was lying here in a wooden hut. He looks somewhat unhappy here. Not much later, this one went off to another part of the enclosure, where I couldn't get good photos.
I took the photo at a higher iso value, but I got the noise out almost completely. In the originally unedited photo, the hut, is a bit more visible. However, the dark background makes the leopard stand out much better as far as I'm concerned.
I made the photo square on purpose, so that it revolves entirely around these felines.
