About "Sol Lumen over Lepelenburg in Utrecht"

About the artwork

Sol Lumen was a temporary (20 to 26 March 2011) laser art project in honour of Utrecht University's 375th anniversary. The installation stood on one of the top floors of the Willem C. van Unnik building on the Uithof, from which seven coloured laser beams (symbolising the seven faculties) shone on the Dom tower. The project was meant to represent the connection between the university and the city in terms of art and culture. The photo was taken in the evening of 21 March 2011. Dark Utrecht. That's the name of my series of photos of Utrecht places after sunset. Most Dark Utrecht photos were shot at dusk. On www.facebook.com/donkerutrecht, I post a new photo every day. At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
