A soothing photo of beautiful leaves of the Bougainvillea.
These leaves have fallen from the Bougainvillea and dried in the lovely Spanish sunshine (I found these leaves in Lanzarote). Because the sun has dried the leaves well, the leaves have become thin and very fragile, but this also makes the beautiful vein structure easy to see.
Because light also comes from behind at an angle, you can clearly see that the leaves have become almost transparent and you can see the leaves behind through the front leaf.
The pastel lilac-purple background creates a calmness in the photo and places the leaves in the foreground. I think the colours of the leaves and background go well together and create a harmony.
This photo: "Soothing pastel colours: The dancing leaves of the Bougainvillea" could hang beautifully in the bedroom, hallway, dining room or simply above the sofa in the living room, for example!
