Situated directly at the Katzstein, you meet the climbing rock Dicke Berta. How it came to its name, for this I have unfortunately found no clear evidence. But if you search the term "Dicke Berta" in the internet, you quickly get a reference to the 1st World War. There the Dicke Bert(h)a was a nickname for German guns. Whether one has something to do with the other, we can only speculate.
