About ‘Spring View’ by Atelier Eikebloom

This mixed-media painting is based on two of my own photographs: the cuckoo flowers, which can also be found as prints in my shop, and my late pet, Dino.

Here, too, the dreamer in me takes you on a journey through the bright colours of spring, through gentleness and strength, renewal and possibilities. Although it might look a bit busy at first glance, to me it also radiates a certain sense of calm. The tranquillity you find when you sit down on a bench somewhere, observing nature around you whilst letting your thoughts drift away. That moment of silence when it finally becomes (relatively) calm inside.

When I decided to document my painting process in a video, I looked for source material in my photos from recent years. My source ended up being a combination of things that bring me joy (flowers and animals) to help me feel confident during the filming. The latter, in fact, turned out to be quite a challenge!

Normally I paint on my own, in peace and quiet, but now I had to do it in front of the camera and with someone else there! It was quite an experience, I can tell you, but thanks to the skill of photographer/videographer Lotte, I was eventually able to lose myself completely in the creative flow. What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
