About the artwork

With its ancient walls, Monastir del Camp stands near the village of Passa, in the south of France, in the Pyrénées-Orientales department of the Occitanie region, nestled in the ancient cultural landscape of Roussillon, like a witness to centuries gone by.

Surrounded by orchards stretching to the horizon, Monastir del Camp lends its surroundings a spiritual aura. In spring, nature comes back to life and the immense orchards blossom before the snow-capped peak of Canigou, the sacred mountain of the Catalans. Peaches, apricots and cherries add colourful accents and create a picturesque backdrop around the monastery.

The architecture of Monastir del Camp is a masterpiece of Romanesque art. The sober elegance of the buildings blends perfectly with the natural beauty of the surroundings. The monastery exudes serenity and majesty, while embodying the history and spirituality of the region.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
