About ‘Spring morning’ by Marijke van Eijkeren
The young, spring-green leaves of a tree on the edge of the Kooikersplas in Houten, photographed against the light. It was an early spring morning in May. I was there before sunrise as part of my project 'De Kooikersplas in vier seizoenen'. Looking at the image, you can feel the atmosphere of a promising spring day.
