"Square with "dancing" hydrangea leaves" is a macro photo of a number of hydrangea leaves attached to a stem. These leaves are like partially dried out so you can clearly see the beautiful vein structure. This is further enhanced by the light falling on them, which makes the vein structure even more visible. Because the leaves are on a mirrored surface on the tips of the leaves, it looks as if the leaves are dancing. The background of this picture is dark in colour, which makes the leaves seem to come nicely into the foreground.
If you zoom in on the work, you can see that I chose a shallow depth of field so that only one part is in focus and everything in front and behind it is gradually faded out. On the stem, for example, you can see the tiny hairs in great detail, as well as part of the veins that are very sharp. This sharpness - blurriness creates a sense of depth in the work and makes the image calmer.
For example, this work could hang beautifully in the bedroom, dining room or just above the dresser in the living room!
