About the artwork

The squirrel, red squirrel or common squirrel (Sciurus vulgaris) is a rodent in the family of squirrels (Sciuridae). The species' scientific name was published in 1758 by Carl Linnaeus,[2] and it is the most common squirrel species in Europe.

Characteristics

A squirrel eats a nut
The squirrel is 20 to 28 centimetres long and weighs 250 to 350 grams. Its bushy bushy tail is 15 to 20 centimetres long. It is an omnivore, belonging to the rodents.

Unlike its name suggests, its coat colour can range from black to yellowish, with all sorts of shades of red and brown in between. Melanism occurs, but the extent to which individuals are melanistic varies by region. Usually the animals are reddish brown with a white belly side, more greyish dark brown in winter. The colour also becomes more greyish as the squirrel ages. The ear tufts are particularly noticeable in winter. A squirrel can raise the hairs on the plume tail.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
